What to expect at your first appointment
Avoid excessive sun exposure for at least 24 hours prior to your treatment.
Refrain from bleaching, plucking, threading, or waxing hairs in the desired treatment area for at least six weeks prior to your first appointment. It’s fine to cut, shave or trim the area.
The area for treatment needs to have the hair showing to a short stubble or longer. This is typically 3-5 days of growth.
Arrive with the treatment area clean and free of makeup (if treating the face) if possible.
If using a numbing ointment, please apply at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time.
Completion and review of Medical Intake and General Consent forms
Discuss how electrolysis works, the human hair growth cycles, and your end goals for treatment.
Review the pre-care and post-care instructions for all treatments.
5 minutes of treatment to the affected area, including an in-house after-care treatment, to demonstrate the process and sensation of receiving electrolysis.
